As the instructions suggest, it takes a while for the oven pilot to light up, but once it does the oven bakes nicely. The burners are plenty hot, and I do most of my stovetop cooking at the "low" setting. I had initial difficulties receiving the stove, but now that it is installed I like it a lot.
